Refunds & Cancellation Policy

This Refunds & Cancellation Policy applies to all sessions and services booked with Nexara Career Counselling Services ("Nexara", "we", "us", "our"), whether conducted online or in-person. By booking a session with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. No Refund Policy

Once a session has been booked and confirmed with Nexara, no refunds will be provided, regardless of whether the session has been completed, partially completed, or not yet attended, except in the limited circumstances described in Section 3 below.

This applies to all services offered by Nexara, including but not limited to personality assessments, interest and aptitude tests, EQ assessments, one-on-one counselling sessions, and career mapping reports.

2. Rescheduling

If you are unable to attend a booked session, you may request to reschedule it, subject to counsellor availability.
Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session time.
Requests made with less than 24 hours' notice, or failure to attend a session without prior notice ("no-show"), will be treated as a completed/forfeited session, and no refund or free rescheduling will be offered.
Nexara reserves the right to limit the number of free reschedules permitted per booking.

3. Exceptions

Refunds or credit toward a future session may be considered, solely at Nexara's discretion, in the following exceptional circumstances:

If Nexara is unable to provide the booked service due to unavailability of a counsellor and no suitable alternative or rescheduled slot can be arranged.
If a technical failure on Nexara's end (for online sessions) prevents the session from taking place, and the session cannot be rescheduled within a reasonable time.
Duplicate payments made in error for the same session.

Any request for consideration under this section must be raised in writing within 7 days of the affected session, along with relevant details. Approval of such requests is at the sole discretion of Nexara and is not guaranteed.

4. Cancellations Initiated by Nexara

In the rare event that Nexara needs to cancel a confirmed session due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer the client a rescheduled session at no additional cost. If no suitable rescheduled slot is available, the matter will be handled as per Section 3 above.

5. Package and Multi-Session Bookings

For clients who purchase a package of multiple sessions (e.g., a full assessment and counselling package), the no-refund policy applies to the package as a whole from the point of booking. Unused sessions within a package do not entitle the client to a partial refund, but may be used within the validity period communicated at the time of booking, subject to rescheduling terms in Section 2.

7. Changes to This Policy

Nexara reserves the right to update this Refunds & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will apply to bookings made after the policy is updated and will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
